How to ship a car in 3 easy steps

All it takes to ship a car is three easy and simple steps: First, you have to get a quote from an auto transport company and book your shipment. Second, your car will be picked up from the desired location. Third, your car will be transported and delivered to you. Whatever the reason, knowing how the process works will put your mind at ease and is the reason why we’ve created this auto transport information page. We’re going to share all the details, so you’ll appreciate how easy, stress-free, and smooth the process is.

Step 1

Get a quote and book your order

It's simple to send a car using Safe Auto Trucking LLC! Using our online car shipping quotation tool, you just submit some necessary details of your shipment such as pickup and destination zip codes, trailer type, vehicle details and shipping dates. Then one of our available agents will manually calculate the best competitive quotes and get back to you shortly via email and phone call. Then you can go ahead and compare our prices and services (we know you want to!) — we’re sure you’ll find our prices very competitive.

Step 2

We pick up your vehicle

One of our expert Safe Auto Trucking coordinators will contact with you to arrange a vehicle pickup date and time which works best for you. When you ship a car direct with Safe Auto Trucking, we do our very best to work according to your time frame! Just prepare the vehicle for car shipping by cleaning it inside and out, removing valuable personal items, and making sure there's at least a quarter tank of gas for loading and unloading it off of the car hauler. On car pickup day, you or someone you authorize through Safe Auto Trucking will inspect your vehicle with your driver to notate pre existing damages and other concerns. Once the Bill of Lading and the inspection report are signed, your car will be on its way!

Step 3

You receive your vehicle

You will receive a short update from the driver some time before the drop off which should leave you with enough preparation time. Then your assigned trucker will deliver your vehicle to your doorsteps (as we offer door-to-door service) or any other drop off location of your convenience. After a careful inspection to make sure everything looks good, you’ll simply sign the Bill of lading to accept your delivery. That’s it!
